We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of food production, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation. As the Head Chef, you will oversee kitchen operations, manage staff, and maintain a safe and efficient working environment.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate the activities of the kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations. Plan and create innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while adhering to food safety regulations. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high standards of taste and presentation. Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients to minimise waste. Train, mentor, and evaluate kitchen staff to enhance their skills and performance. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar culinary leadership role within the hospitality or restaurant industry. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Exceptional culinary skills with a passion for creating high-quality dishes. Excellent leadership abilities with experience in supervising kitchen teams. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong organisational skills with the capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. A creative mindset with a willingness to experiment with new recipes and cooking techniques. Relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are preferred.
