Job Summary


We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fine dining and catering, with a passion for food preparation and menu planning. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, managing staff, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety.

Responsibilities



Lead and manage the kitchen team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations. Oversee food production, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation. Plan and design menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels to minimize waste. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized kitchen environment. Train and mentor kitchen staff on cooking techniques, food handling, and safety protocols. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during events and regular service hours. Monitor food costs and labor expenses to maintain profitability while delivering exceptional dining experiences. Participate in catering events as needed, showcasing culinary creativity and leadership.

Qualifications



Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within the food industry. Strong background in fine dining, catering, and restaurant management. Experience in menu planning, food production, and inventory management is essential. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management. Strong culinary skills with experience in various cooking techniques and cuisines. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality. Previous banquet experience is highly desirable, along with supervisory experience in a kitchen setting. Pay: 24,420.00-40,432.63 per year
