Duties

Lead and supervise the kitchen team, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment. Oversee all aspects of food preparation and cooking, ensuring high-quality dishes are consistently produced. Develop creative and seasonal menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment. Train, mentor, and support kitchen staff in their roles, promoting professional development and teamwork. Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain efficient kitchen operations. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.

Skills

Proven experience as a cook or chef in a restaurant setting, with strong culinary skills. Excellent knowledge of food safety practices and kitchen hygiene standards. Strong leadership abilities with experience in supervising and managing a team effectively. Ability to create innovative dishes while maintaining consistency in quality and presentation. Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with both kitchen and front-of-house teams. A passion for culinary arts and a commitment to delivering outstanding dining experiences.

Pay: 26,500.00-37,000.00 per year
