We are looking for an experienced or Aspiring Head Chef to work alongside our Executive Chef and existing senior team at The York Minster Refectory
The York Minster Refectory is Operated by Andrew Pern of the Michelin star ''The Star Inn at Harome''. We are a busy restaurant, terrace and coffee shop in a beautiful city centre location directly opposite York Minster, that focuses on producing quality food using the best local fresh ingredients.
We are looking for someone with a real ''can-do'' attitude, that take pride in the quality of their work.
Applicants must have experience in a busy, fresh produce Kitchen.
Main responsibilities
Manage daily kitchen activities
Direct food preparation
Collaborate with executive chef
Oversees and supervises kitchen staff
Assists with ordering and management of supplies.
Ensure food & safety standards are met
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 37,000.00-38,000.00 per year
