Stone Rock Lodge is a distinguished restaurant, Hotel and Wellness Centre located in Chepstow, South Wales. Renowned for our award-winning menu, we specialise in authentic Neapolitan style pizza but are looking to expand our menu into other dishes made of locally sourced products, including a traditional Sunday Roast.

Summary

We are seeking a talented Head Chef to join our dynamic team at Stone Rock Lodge. In this role, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen staff, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety while creating an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the kitchen team to deliver high-quality dishes consistently. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure adherence to recipes and standards. Develop and innovate menu items that reflect our commitment to quality and authenticity. Maintain food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations. Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive work environment. Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs effectively. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar culinary leadership role. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen management practices. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. Creative flair for menu development and presentation.

Pay: 30,000.00-36,000.00 per year
