Responsibilities
Lead and manage the kitchen team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
Oversee all food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised kitchen environment.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked.
Train and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work atmosphere.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction.
Stay updated on culinary trends and incorporate innovative techniques into menu offerings.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within a restaurant environment.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, culinary arts, and food safety standards.
Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
A passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering high-quality dining experiences.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with both kitchen and front-of-house teams.
Culinary qualification or equivalent experience is preferred but not essential.
