We are seeking a skilled Chef to join our team at our business' in the heart of Birkenhead. If you're passionate about food, are robust in food safety practices and can manage a kitchen and staff we would love to talk to you.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook delicious and visually appealing dishes
- Oversee kitchen operations and manage kitchen staff
- Ensure food safety standards are met at all times
- Develop new menu items and specials
- Order supplies and manage inventory
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment
- knowledge of how to budget dishes
- in depth knowledge of culinary techniques, food preperation and kitchen operations
- relevant culinary qualifications or certifications are desirable
Skills
- Proficient in food preparation techniques
- Strong hospitality skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Experience as a cook with knowledge of various cuisines
- Team management and supervising abilities
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Expertise in food production and presentation
- Leadership skills to guide staff effectively
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: 13.00-15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
