Responsibilities
Supervise and manage kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Oversee food production processes to ensure high-quality dishes are consistently prepared.
Develop and design innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while catering to customer preferences.
Ensure all food preparation adheres to safety and hygiene standards, maintaining compliance with health regulations.
Train and mentor kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food safety practices, and efficient kitchen operations.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain efficient kitchen operations.
Implement cost control measures to maximise profitability while maintaining quality standards.
Experience
Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar culinary leadership role within the hospitality industry.
Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and food production processes.
Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively.
Extensive knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the kitchen environment.
Previous restaurant experience is essential, with a focus on delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members towards achieving common goals.
