At the Eat inn diner, 70% of our menu is breakfast orientated - so having the ability to organise and have your team put together all the various elements of a fantastic quality breakfast , whilst keeping calm under immense pressure of an extremely busy kitchen are vital to this Head chefs role.
We open daytime hours only, so it's a chefs dream to get evenings off.
Heading up a small team of 6, we expect you to be able to prepare and cook everything from traditional roast dishes, daily specials to exciting vegan mains and presenting fine buffets for corporate events from all the team.
Food and hygiene certification must be up to date.
You must have experience in working in busy kitchens and be very well organised as your team will be producing up to 500 breakfasts and lunches on a busy day, in a kitchen not totally designed for purpose. So you need to be ready for the challenge.

You'll need to prove you're able to control a team, while allowing flexibility and freedom to see them naturally flourish. Training and COSHH Experience is obviously a big plus.
