Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team in delivering exceptional culinary experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of food preparation and production, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of food safety. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for managing kitchen operations, training and developing your team and ensuring that our food offerings meet the expectations of our guests while fostering a positive team environment.

Duties



Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation and production. Develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends and customer preferences. Manage inventory, ordering, and stock control to ensure efficient kitchen operations. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations. Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff to enhance their skills and foster teamwork. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure consistency with established standards. Implement cost control measures while maintaining quality in food production.

Qualifications



Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a Sous Chef role within a busy kitchen environment. Strong culinary skills with a solid understanding of various cooking techniques and cuisines. Excellent leadership abilities with experience in team management and development. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hospitality. Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure. A passion for cooking and a commitment to delivering high-quality dishes. Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with both kitchen and front-of-house teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From 15.00 per hour
