Responsibilities
Supervise and manage kitchen staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Oversee food production processes, ensuring that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Develop and implement menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting the needs of our clientele.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment.
Train and mentor kitchen staff in food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and best practices.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations.
Maintain high standards of hospitality by ensuring that every dish served meets customer expectations.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar culinary leadership role within a restaurant setting.
Strong supervisory experience with demonstrated team management skills.
Extensive knowledge of food production techniques and culinary arts.
Proficient in food preparation and cooking methods across various cuisines.
Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations is essential.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
