We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen team. As Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing food production, managing kitchen staff, and ensuring that our residents receive an outstanding dining experience.

Responsibilities

Supervise and manage kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment. Oversee all aspects of food preparation and cooking, ensuring high-quality dishes are consistently produced. Develop and implement menus that reflect current trends while adhering to budgetary constraints. Maintain strict food safety standards in accordance with health regulations. Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques and best practices. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Monitor inventory levels and manage food ordering to minimise waste. Ensure the kitchen is clean, organised, and well-maintained at all times.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality industry. Strong supervisory skills with a focus on team management and development. Extensive knowledge of food production processes and culinary techniques. Excellent cooking skills with a passion for creating innovative dishes. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices. Previous restaurant experience is essential; fine dining experience is preferred. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
