We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team and oversee all aspects of food production and preparation.

As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for creating innovative menus, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring that every dish meets our quality standards.
Duties
Lead and manage the kitchen team, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
Oversee all food production processes, ensuring that meals are prepared to the highest quality and presentation standards.
Develop and design creative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Supervise food preparation activities, ensuring adherence to recipes and portion control.
Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards in compliance with health regulations.
Train, mentor, and support kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food safety practices, and operational procedures.
Collaborate with management to plan special events or catering services as required.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and order as necessary to maintain stock levels.
Assist in budgeting for kitchen operations while minimising waste and maximising efficiency.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a high-volume kitchen environment.
Strong knowledge of food production techniques, culinary trends, and hospitality best practices.
Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
Demonstrated expertise in food preparation methods with a keen eye for detail in presentation.
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen hygiene.
Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills to effectively manage a diverse team.
A passion for cooking with creativity in menu development is highly desirable.
Level 3 in food safety is preferred but candidate must have at least a level 2 food safety qualification.
