Head Dental Nurse - Full-Time (Private Practice)

Smiles on Harrogate Road is a modern private dental practice based in the heart of Chapel Allerton's busy and vibrant high street. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality care using state-of-the-art equipment and a wide range of treatments, from general dentistry to advanced cosmetic services, including Invisalign and composite bonding.

We are looking for a friendly, professional, and motivated Head Dental Nurse to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced dental nurse who enjoys leading a team, supporting colleagues, and delivering excellent patient care.

What we're looking for:

GDC registered with at least 2 years' experience in dental nursing Previous experience in a Head or Senior Dental Nurse role (preferred) A positive, welcoming attitude with excellent communication skills Strong organisational skills and the ability to support and train trainee dental nurses A team player who thrives in a professional and caring environment

Key responsibilities:

Leading and coordinating the nursing team Supporting and mentoring trainee dental nurses Ensuring high standards of infection control and clinical governance Assisting dentists with all clinical procedures Maintaining accurate patient records and compliance with CQC standards Carrying out audits and ensuring policies and procedures are followed Using Dentally software for patient records, charting, and compliance
