PGA-qualified Head Golf Professional
to lead and elevate our golf operations.

, working closely with both hotel and golf teams to deliver a world-class experience for members, guests, and event clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Golf Operations & Guest Experience
Oversee daily golf operations (tee bookings, pace of play, starter/marshal duties).
Work alongside reception/events teams for seamless guest experience.
Be a visible, welcoming presence for all golfers.
Collaborate with greenkeeping, F&B, and spa teams to uphold premium service standards.
Golf Shop & Retail Management
Run a professional, profitable golf shop (stocking apparel, hardware, and accessories).
Manage all aspects of retail: stock selection, supplier relations, merchandising.
Train staff to deliver expert product knowledge and top-tier service.
Handle POS, financial reporting, and daily takings.
Coaching & Player Development
Provide expert coaching using modern tools and methods.
Deliver group clinics, corporate tuition, junior golf, and "Get into Golf" programs.
Offer club fitting and demo sessions with leading brands.
Develop personal coaching diary and mentor team coaches.
Events, Tournaments & Corporate Days
Plan and support competitions, society days, and hotel golf packages.
Work with hotel events team to ensure excellence in delivery.
Use software (BRS, ClubV1, HowDidiDo) for scoring, communication, and logistics.
Leadership & Staff Management
Recruit, train, and manage golf staff including assistants and shop personnel.
Create staff rotas in line with seasonal business needs.
Ensure a polished, professional, customer-first team culture.
Support marketing team with campaigns and content.
Financial & Administrative Oversight
Manage budgets for shop, coaching, and operations with the finance team.
Track performance vs targets, and optimise cost controls.
Maintain clear reporting on revenue and profitability.
Review and manage BRS pricing to ensure competitive rates.
Membership
Assist in managing the golf club's membership sections.
Attend committee and AGM meetings.
Proactively promote memberships and onboard new members.

PGA Professional (UK & Ireland)
