Job Description
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and committed Head Greenkeeper to join our existing Greens Team.
Reporting to the Club Secretary and Director of Greens the successful candidate will be expected to help maintain the golf course to the very highest standards and with course improvement plans currently in progress will have the opportunity to showcase their skills in supporting the development of the Club within and beyond the local community.
The Candidate should have:
Minimum Level 3 NVQ or equivalent sports turf qualification
Minimum 5 years greenkeeping experience
Able to operate a wide range of golf course machinery
Good time management and communication skills
Ability to work as part of a team but also under their own initiative
PA 1,2 & 6 Spraying certificates
Qualified in the use of a chain saw (not essential)
Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience.
