to take responsibility for the maintenance, presentation, and long-term development of our golf course. This is a hands-on leadership role, ensuring exceptional playing conditions while managing staff, budgets, and resources efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain greens, tees, fairways, bunkers, and surrounds to a high standard
Plan and deliver seasonal and annual maintenance programmes
Lead, train, and supervise the greenkeeping team
Oversee course presentation for daily play and competitions
Monitor turf health, disease, pests, and irrigation
Ensure safe use and maintenance of machinery and equipment
Manage budgets, purchasing, and departmental records
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, COSHH, and environmental regulations
Communicate course conditions and plans with management and members
