Head Housekeeper

Experience Required from a Head Housekeeper:

Experience in managing housekeeping operations, ideally within a care or hospitality setting Knowledge of infection control, COSHH, and health & safety regulations Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a housekeeping team High standards and attention to detail Compassionate and respectful approach to supporting a residential care environment Good organisational and communication skills

Responsibilities as a Head Housekeeper:

Oversee all aspects of housekeeping including laundry, cleaning, and stock control Ensure the home is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness at all times Train, manage, and supervise housekeeping staff to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices Maintain accurate records relating to cleaning schedules, health and safety, and stock usage Liaise with the care team to ensure residents' individual needs and preferences are met Uphold Glenholme's commitment to dignity, respect, and high-quality living standards for all residents Ensure compliance with CQC and internal policies and procedures Conduct regular audits and inspections to maintain and improve housekeeping performance
