Summary

We are seeking a Head Housekeeper to join our team at Walsh's Hotel and The Wild Duck Inn in the heart of the hospitality industry. Responsibilities

Oversee daily housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness standards are met. Train and manage housekeeping staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to maintain quality. Develop cleaning schedules and allocate tasks effectively. Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment. Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly. Implement health and safety regulations within the housekeeping department. Assist in budgeting for housekeeping operations.

Skills

Proven experience in hotel or hospitality management, particularly in housekeeping roles. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and safety protocols. Ability to work flexible hours as needed. Previous janitorial experience is a plus but not mandatory.
