Widemouth Bay Caravan Park is looking for a reliable, organised and positive Head Housekeeper to lead our busy housekeeping department with a strong team in place as we prepare for the 2026 season.

This is a key role within the park, ensuring our holiday homes, venue and facilities are cleaned to the highest standard and ready for our guests and owners. We're looking for someone who is hands-on, proactive and confident managing a team, leading from the front and demonstrating a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Leading the housekeeping team on changeover days - Mondays, Fridays & Saturdays Maintaining high cleaning standards across holiday home changeovers and communal areas Training, motivating and supporting seasonal staff Ensuring check-in deadlines are always met Ordering and managing stock (linen, cleaning products, inventories) Liaising with the management and reception team on changeovers and schedules Working closely with maintenance to ensure standards are kept throughout accommodations Upholding health & safety and COSHH requirements Ensuring a positive and supportive working environment for the team

Requirements

Previous housekeeping management or supervisory experience in a holiday park role or similar Strong communication and organisational skills Knowledge of internal systems (namely Parcvu) preferred but not essential as training will be given Availability to work evenings and weekends where required with a minimum of 40 hours a week Ability to lead a team calmly and confidently A positive attitude and pride in maintaining high standards Flexibility during peak season and busy changeover days Full driving licence required due to use of vehicles on park and a reliable means of transport due to start/finish times and location
