We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Lead Housekeeper to oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of our Care Home. The successful candidate will lead the housekeeping team, ensuring high standards of hygiene, organisation, and resident satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations to ensure efficient service delivery
Manage and train housekeeping staff, fostering a professional and motivated team
Conduct regular inspections of resident rooms, communal areas, and back-of-house spaces to maintain cleanliness standards
Develop and implement cleaning schedules, procedures, and quality control measures
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
Liaise with other departments to coordinate special requests or event setups
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper stock levels are kept
Requirements
Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or care home highly desirable
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Excellent leadership and team management abilities
Knowledge of health and safety standards relevant to cleaning operations
Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within a fast-paced environment
