Description




Job purpose An excellent opportunity for a commercially focused BRPD to assist in establishing and managing a BRPD team across TFT, working on a wide commercial client portfolio. Clients include global real estate investors and other enviable corporates.



This is a lead BRPD role for a new team in London alongside wider support across the business in our other UK offices. You will have a high level of autonomy, where you can build client relationships and be part of the senior management team. You will manage and be accountable for service delivery on a wide range of projects leading the communication between the designer, client and contractors.



You will be responsible for the delivery of BRPD services, handling multiple projects, to complement the range of project and building consultancy professionals across the UK, and in conjunction with regional teams. You will be part of a commercial consultancy with an enviable client list consisting of high-level global investors and corporate occupiers, including M&G, L&G and Aviva.

Be actively involved in the development of services, business development and growth Assist in leading the BRPD team including work and resource allocation and oversight of financial performance Liaise with designers on building regulations compliance. Collate pre-construction information and identify how any information gaps will be resolved Carry out building regulations specific design reviews throughout the design and construction phases of a project Support designers and project managers with specialist BRPD advice Liaise with other business units cross selling the services Other relevant building consultancy work Performance criteria Degree or Level 6 qualification Full (Certified) Registered Building Inspector Demonstrable knowledge of relevant legislation, including Building Regulations and the Building Safety Act Proven team leadership Experience of working in a commercial environment Strong client communication skills Able to meet fee targets and engage with the team to achieve the overall target Commercially astute Skills and behaviour Confident communicator both verbally and in writing Ability to work with both internal and external stakeholders Proven success of building successful trusted client relationships




Confident manager of different personalities and able to hold difficult conversations
