Job Summary





Introducing an exciting opportunity to join our Structural Engineering team as Head of Building Safety.



We are looking for an ambitious Head of Building Safety to join our Structural Engineering team. In this key role, you'll lead and support the development of our team, delivering Structural Engineering Inspections and reports for Building Safety Cases. Working closely with the Director of Structural and Civil Engineering, you will play a vital role in expanding our client portfolio while managing and overseeing the technical delivery of our existing team.



Our structural reports advising the structural integrity risk are delivered as part of our multi-discipline team that produces the complete Building Safety Case. We also provide these reports independently for several clients.

You will be the client lead on various work streams and will play a key role in maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.



Skills & Experience




Minimum Chartered Member of IStructE or ICE. Must have good experience and understanding of Robustness and Progressive Collapse. Experience of assessments and remedial works of Large Panel Systems (LPS) is preferred. Undertaking detailed design and assessments, production of reports, specifications and schedules with evidence provided. Experience in Eurocodes and British Standards. Experience of visiting sites, making observations and providing written advice. A broad experience in various construction sectors and materials. Experience of managing others.
