Overview:
We're looking for an experienced and ambitious
Head of Business Development
to lead growth across our expanding portfolio of professional services. You'll focus on developing strategic partnerships, securing new organisational clients, and driving consistent revenue growth across the business.
This is a senior, office-based role working directly with the Directors, with responsibility for shaping business development strategy and building a high-performing BDM team as the department grows.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and secure new B2B partnerships and long-term client contracts.
Develop and execute business development strategies across multiple service lines.
Build strong relationships with key decision-makers in education, healthcare, recruitment, and other professional sectors.
Lead negotiations and close partnership agreements with new clients.
Collaborate with the Digital Marketing and Sales teams to convert inbound leads into contracts.
Prepare growth forecasts, proposals, and performance reports for Directors.
Recruit, train, and manage future Business Development Managers as the department scales.
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 5-7 years' experience in B2B business development, preferably within professional or compliance services.
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding growth targets.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify new revenue opportunities.
Leadership experience with the ability to coach and motivate a small team.
Confident working with Directors and senior stakeholders.
