Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head of Care to lead our team in providing exceptional care to our 20 residents at Upton House. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for senior care. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to supervise staff while ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained.
Duties
Oversee the daily operations of the care home, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices in senior care. Supervise and support all staff members, with a positive working environment that encourages them to carry out their duties to the best of their ability to ensure the safe and efficient running of the home. Conduct regular assessments of residents' needs and adjust care plans accordingly. To liase with health care professionals as required and assist with medication. Maintain effective communication with residents relatives and friends.
Experience
Proven experience in a senior role within a care home or similar environment is essential. A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel.
