In North Somerset, we operate full wraparound provision in primary schools and holiday camps across venues, alongside numerous PE and after-school club contracts. Our Ofsted-registered centres are trusted by parents and schools alike to provide safe, high-quality, and inspiring childcare.

We are growing rapidly and now looking for an outstanding

Head of Childcare

to join our senior leadership team.

The Opportunity

This is not a standard setting manager role. You will be the

most senior childcare professional in the organisation

, reporting only to the Head Of Operations and the Directors. You'll lead a team of setting managers, oversee provision for thousands of children, and have direct influence on our strategic growth in 2025 and beyond.

With a clear progression pathway, this role has the potential to develop as we scale. You'll also benefit from structured

management and leadership training

, ensuring you continue to grow alongside the organisation.

What You'll Be Doing

Lead, inspire and support our setting managers and childcare staff Ensure consistently high quality across all Ofsted-registered settings Build strong partnerships with headteachers, schools, and parents Oversee safeguarding, compliance, and staff training programmes Play a key role in shaping strategy, innovation, and growth

What We're Looking For

Proven leadership experience

in childcare, early years, or school-based provision Strong understanding of Ofsted requirements and safeguarding (training can be provided) Ability to inspire and develop staff teams Organised, resilient, and confident representing us with schools and parents A passion for making a difference in children's lives
