is partnering with a well-regarded independent law firm in Chichester to appoint a Head of Commercial Property and they need someone who's not only confident in their legal expertise but excited to shape the future of a department.

This is a standout opportunity for a senior lawyer who's ready to take the reins and lead with both vision and drive. You'll have the freedom to grow the team, define processes, and play a central role in the firm's strategic direction.

What the role involves:

Leading on a broad range of commercial property transactions including acquisitions, disposals, leases, development work, and landlord/tenant matters Managing key client relationships and identifying new business opportunities Playing a pivotal role in the department's growth including hiring, mentoring, and shaping the commercial strategy Collaborating with the firm's leadership team to align legal delivery with commercial ambition Bringing high levels of technical expertise and commercial insight to every matter
What we're looking for:

Minimum 5 years' PQE in commercial property Strong technical knowledge and experience handling complex transactions A proactive, commercially minded approach with a focus on client success Leadership capability and a desire to build and develop a high-performing team Ambition to step into a Director-level role within 6 months
