We\'re looking for a Global Head of Content Localisation to manage up to our localisation function (up to 60 individuals), which consists of a communication team and product team. You and the team will be defining our tone of voice and strategic messaging to deliver copy that engages and excites customers across the globe, while upholding the best practices of localisation

What you\'ll be doing

  • Defining what native-level translation level is and creating the process & product to achieve it
  • Building a vision to scale localisation operations and driving implementation of strategic projects involving quantitative analysis, operational workflow improvements, capacity planning
  • Providing thought leadership by identifying areas for growth and improvement to quality and scale the business
  • Being a thought leader for localisation launch and product readiness initiatives and guiding the teams direction overall
  • Evangelizing localisation best practices, raising awareness of localization processes, requirements, timelines and impact with cross-functional partners
  • Working with peer leaders within the global functions (Sales, Success, Partnerships, Marketing, Product and Engineering etc..) to ensure effective collaboration and transparency across verticals
  • Hiring and retaining A players for the company
  • Providing leadership and mentorship for the Project Managers, Language Owners and Translators
What you\'ll need
  • A minimum of 8 years\' experience in localisation project management, as well as previous experience in managing a team of 10 people
  • Previous project management experience in top localisation agency or in localisation team of a top tech company
  • Experience in defining best in class localisation processes and products
  • Experience working with product owners
  • Excellent organisational and project management skills, and have a natural ability to break big tasks into smaller sub-tasks that can be monitored and tracked
  • A STEM, linguistic or business degree
Nice to have
  • Experience being a technical project manager
  • Experience in working with various CAT tools
