Primary Engineer is a creative, dynamic, fun, purpose-led not-for-profit that places engineering at the heart of Primary education and beyond.

Our Marketing Team is looking for a creative, skilled, enthusiastic someone to lead them to the dizzy heights they are capable of!

Our Senior Management Team are looking for someone to join them who can strategize, plan, deliver, report, launch new products, design showstopping campaigns, whilst delivering on the different department's needs and requirements.

Our Marketing team play a key role within the business, creating the bridge between our activities in schools with the industries we represent through the products we create.

Our vision as a not-for-profit Company is to embed engineering into the fabric of every school, ensuring all children have the opportunity to engage with engineering from a young age.

Primary Engineer are leaders in encouraging and inspiring children to become engineers and promoting engineering as a career path. We have an outstanding product portfolio and work with a wide and diverse range of partners many at the cutting edge of their sectors.

We are looking for someone who wants to take our brand, ideas and opportunities to a wider audience having a positive impact on the future careers of young people, whilst also being someone really nice, kind, fun, creative and clever.

The Role:



As our Head of Creative Marketing, you will be responsible for:

Team leadership and Management:

line manage the Marketing Team, fostering a creative, innovative and collaborative environment, including budgets, timelines and resources to ensure projects are delivered on time in full. Lead generation and analytics

Creative Strategy and Brand Guardianship:

developing the overall creative strategy that guides all marketing, communications and advertising, including visual identity and brand voice to ensure a consistent, recognisable brand.

Lead on the communications, marketing and advertising

(digital and traditional) including planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, setting messaging, channels and creative content for brand awareness, lead generation and product promotion.

Oversee the in-house creative team

to produce all visual and written assets, ensuring high quality and alignment with the creative strategy.

Oversee the strategy, creative development and branding

for all corporate events and exhibitions to ensure these experiences consistently reflect the brands identity and communication goals.

We're looking for:



A creative who is confident using data to demonstrate results A confident, self-motivated individual At least 3 years'+ team leadership experience Experience in project management would be beneficial

CRM system - shared contact database & collab workflows Email marketing & campaign management Website CMS (WordPress) SEO and analytics tools Brand asset management & file sharing Content creation, Video and photography tools Data and reporting tools Project and workflow management systems (inc project management & briefing)
