Recipharm are recruiting a Head of Engineering & Technology to join our site leadership team at our Holmes Chapel site in Cheshire. This role is predominately based on site with some flexibility to work from home within the confines of the needs of the business. Spearheading Engineering and Technical services across the Holmes Chapel Site, you will set the strategic vision and expectations as well as provide coaching, motivation and drive to a range of scientists, technical and engineering experts. You will provide the leadership and drive for improvements, projects and problem solving and act as a critical link between Local (RHC) and Global (Corporate) MSaT groups. Your ability to understand detailed technical product and process information and translate across the business will be vital. Previous experience in a highly regulated environment will support your work in this GMP pharmaceutical setting, including oversight of validation processes.

Recipharm, Holmes Chapel specialises in the manufacture of inhalation products such as Metered Dose Inhalers (MDI), Dry Powder Inhalers (DPI) and Nasal Sprays. The site has been inspected and approved by the MHRA in line with EU GMP standards as well as the FDA and is accredited according to the environmental management system ISO 14001. Employing over 400 people, RHC has recently been awarded a Silver Award by Investors in People.

The Head of Engineering & Technology duties will include:

• Leading the Engineering & Technology (E&T) department defining the strategic and tactical goals
• Taking financial responsibility for the function e.g. headcount, expenses, capital and service sales
• Ensuring the delivery of end-to-end product and process lifecycle management
• Developing the skills, capabilities and contribution of all direct reports
• Maintaining the business\' commitment to the Safety and Quality of our products and employees
• Scientific leadership in resolving manufacturing process/product issues, investigating and resolving unexpected or out-of-specification events

Head of Engineering & Technology key skills and experience:

• Degree level or equivalent in a science or engineering discipline.
• GMP experience in an operational setting
• Previous Project Management experience in an engineering setting
• Track record of executing/managing multiple priorities
• Able to lead, coach, influence and mentor across a technically strong function
• Support capital investment justifications and business cases to support new investments and strategy
