Job Description
Robert Half are recruiting a Head of Finance on an exclusive basis for a multinational business based in Burgess Hill. If you are immediately available, and looking for a challenge, then please apply.
The Duties
- Set up accounting systems and ensure accounting records are maintained compliant with UK Companies Act and UK GAAP
- Prepare monthly management accounts, forecasts and annual budget.
- Preparation of annual statutory financial statements and necessary supporting information to ensure a timely clean audit by the companies external auditors
- Responsible for maintaining accounts and records in alignment with projects and other accounting functions. Review & finalisation of management accounts.
- Maintain accounting systems: Journal entries, general ledger, accounts receivables, accounts payable, revenue reconciliation, etc.
- Ensure all monthly, quarterly & annual corporate reporting deadlines are met.
- Professional Accounting Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Knowledge of SAP essential; involvement in an implementation would be highly desirable.
- Requires practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects, tactics and employees within a team.
