Ricoh are currently recruiting for a Head of Business Partnering (Corporate) based who will be responsible for leading the commercial finance function supporting, challenging, engaging with, and reporting on the business to improve the commercial effectiveness and success of the Corporate function.
As a senior member of the finance function, you will be working closely and support the senior management to understand the wider market and external factors that affect or provide opportunities to the company's performance. You will also support the Commercial Finance team and your direct report by providing guidance, coaching and ensuring accurate and timely reporting.

What you will be doing
Development of a broad overview across the division, providing insight around their performance, processes, systems, and methodologies.
Provide commercial guidance and insight into offerings and how they link to business strategies.
Acting as a conduit for information flow and collaboration between functions across the wider business to ensure synergy and alignment.
Providing constructive challenge to leadership team making sure business cases are clear and built on robust assumptions, demonstrate clear risk assessment, and consider mitigation plans.
Closely cooperate with executives during negotiations into potential acquisition targets: risk analysis and support purchase price allocation (PPA).
Business Planning and Reporting
Own the business planning cycle (forecasting, budgeting, and mid-term planning), including developing and updating the financial planning model, identification of KPIs and key business drivers, risks, and upsides.
Continually improve the entire financial planning process and financial model in terms of accuracy and efficiency as well as relevancy of insights to senior management team
Create a accurate and insightful management information pack, to continually raise awareness of financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and ensure action plans are in place.
Evaluate growth initiatives and proactively identify opportunities for growth and recommend investments based on understanding of business strategic priorities
Lead the community of Finance Business Partners, set standards, share best practice while providing support and development as required.
Monitor and manage the performance of the different areas of the portfolio as well as identify opportunities to maximize profit.
Contribute to pricing and margin decisions by reviewing financial modelling underpinning proposals.
Provide guidance & coaching to Finance Business Partners
Ensure accurate and timely reporting
Support the wider Commercial Finance team on specific ad-hoc projects.
You will ideally have
Ideal candidates will be educated to at least bachelor's degree or equivalent level professional qualification with preference given to studies in business administration, finance or equivalent.
Candidates will ideally hold an accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent), with an extensive PQE.
Successful candidates will have extensive proven financial experience (management accounting or commercial analysis) with solid experience within that as a Finance Business Partner.
Preferably candidates will have knowledge and experience of developing reporting information systems from a business perspective, implementing and using the management information.
Ideally you will have in-depth and broad knowledge and experience in IT sector, Process Automation, and/or Print. Plus, multi-country experience and ability to work across culturally diverse groups.
Successful candidates will have strong business facing commercial background with a proven experience of business-partnering role, ideally at a complex multinational corporation. With strong commercial acumen, including a strategic approach, strong numeric and analytical skill.
Any proficiency in European languages in addition to English will be a plus.
Ideally candidates will be comfortable user of M365 application and knowledge of major ERP systems such as Oracle.
Successful candidates will have excellent leadership skills with a history of leading, managing and developing a team (team strategy, priorities, and development). Plus have a business mind-set and act as sounding board and key advisor to management team, including the ability to articulate the story behind the numbers to senior management and find the key messages in the detail.
Ideally candidates will be comfortable with risk, working with ambiguity, and able to form and support opinions. Plus be passionate for understanding what drives the business - both financial and non-financial and a clear head for making decisions
Successful candidates will have excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence outcomes in a matrix management organization. Alongside excellent stakeholder management and relationship building and able to work with people inside and outside finance.
