About Our Client:
Our client is dedicated to providing a safe and welcoming environment for residents, managing 1600 homes across a London borough. With a board of resident directors steering strategic decisions, and fantastic leadership, this is a great opportunity to own and develop a new role within the structure.
What You'll Do:
As a key member of the Senior Management Team, you will report directly to the Chief Executive and play a vital role in shaping the future of the organisation. Your responsibilities will include:
Finance Leadership:
Oversee an annual budget and manage substantial reserves.

  • Ensure financial systems are efficient and compliant.
  • Produce forecasts and strategic plans to align with our business objectives.
  • Present financial reports to the Board and finance subcommittees.
Human Resources Management:
  • Lead the HR function, ensuring legal compliance and best practises.
  • Provide strategic HR advice and facilitate discussions on complex cases.
  • Support the development and training of staff.
IT Oversight:
  • Manage IT procurement and ensure our systems meet organisational needs.
  • Collaborate to develop an IT strategy during our upgrade process.
Office Management:
  • Ensure the office environment is safe, clean, and equipped with necessary resources.
  • Oversee health and safety protocols and maintain the Business Continuity Plan.
What We're Looking For:
We seek an enthusiastic leader with:
A Finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW)
Extensive experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Strong strategic planning and financial forecasting skills.
  • A collaborative spirit to work with our resident board and senior management team.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex financial information into understandable terms.
