Title: Head of Finance Reports to: General Manager, Cabot Highlands Location: Dalcross, Inverness, United Kingdom
Cabot Highlands Cabot Highlands Cabot\'s first European project, Cabot Highlands is situated in the Scottish Highlands and will include world-class golf, boutique accommodations and luxury real estate. Located five minutes from the Inverness Airport, Cabot Highlands is home to renowned Castle Stuart Golf Links, named among the top 100 courses in the world by Golf Digest. The property also features an art-deco inspired clubhouse, a practice area and a short game facility. A second golf course along with our new Golf Park \xe2\x80\x93 which will include a driving range and a par 3 course \xe2\x80\x93 designed by world acclaimed architect Tom Doak, will be completed in 2024. Beyond golf, the destination offers incredible natural beauty and ample outdoor activities including hiking, cycling, fishing, falconry, horseback riding and more. The town of Inverness is located ten minutes away and offers opportunities to experience the vibrant Scottish culture through Victorian-era marketplaces, cathedrals, museums, and restaurants. Position Overview As Head of Finance, you are a key member of our Cabot Highlands team and will be instrumental in building on Cabot\xe2\x80\x99s legacy of world-leading golf destinations. Core accountabilities

• Collaborate with senior leadership team to prepare detailed annual budgets in support of financial and organizational goals
• Join forces with Cabot Highlands Bookkeeper to prepare monthly consolidated financial statements including P&Ls, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statements, supporting commentary and budget to actual variance analysis
• Update financial forecasts monthly based on up-to-date relevant information
• Collaborate with project leadership, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure proper project cost/construction accounting is established and tracked
• Oversee debt draws and ensure all loan reporting and covenants are accurate, complete and in compliance
• Establish and lead month-end closing procedures
• Approve and process invoices for payment, including treasury management
• Prepare financial and operating metrics
• Complete all state and IRS reporting/audits
• Ensure all tax payments are up to date and assist with annual tax return preparation as required
• Collaborate with the Talent & Culture team to process Cabot Highlands payroll
• Support the General Manager in the preparation of all materials for all investor and other stakeholder presentations
• Establish and monitor appropriate financial controls that are appropriate for the business\xe2\x80\x99 size and stage
• Ensure secure and efficient storage of documentation
• Ensure appropriate insurance is in place for the Cabot Highlands property
• Support the annual year-end financial audit process for the Cabot Highlands team
• Processing weekly cheque and EFT/Wire runs

• 10+ years of relevant accounting, financial planning & analysis experience
• Additional experience in real estate, construction/development is a benefit either at Accounting Firm or within the industry
• Strong knowledge of Great Plains, SAGE or equivalent accounting software
• Strong IFRS and financial reporting technical skills
• Professional designation is strongly preferred
