Page Personnel have the pleasure of working with an organisation in the Not For Profit and Charities sector, based in Salford, who are looking to appoint a Head of Finance on a 3-month basis. They are ideally looking for someone with experience leading various sectors of a finance team (e.g. accountancy and purchase ledger functions); with focus on achieving strategic objectives and compliance in line with policy and regulatory needs.

The key responsibilities of a Head of Finance include, but may not be limited to:

  • Lead and drive an optimistic culture in delivering the clients vibrant strategy and outcomes.
  • Create and maintain positive and effective relationships with partners and key stakeholders.
  • Guide and develop a proactive and professional team to ensure that Finance and Purchase Ledger delivery targets are achieved and effective systems, policies and training are developed and embedded across the organisation.
  • Lead and manage the delivery of all organisational financial reporting requirements including statutory accounts, VAT, Office of National Statistics and DCMS and production of monthly management accounts.
  • Lead the continuous development of management information including derivation and monitoring of KPI\'s and key accounting ratios and metrics.
  • To inspire colleagues by embodying the essence of the charity through improvements and developments.
Attractive hourly rate of \xc2\xa321.00 - \xc2\xa324.50|Immediate start opportunity

The successful a Head of Finance should possess:
  • Not For Profit and Charities background/ experience.
  • Business partner experience/ Managerial experience supporting financial and non-financial managers
  • Exceptional IT skills
  • The ability to form and maintain positive relationships with a wide spectrum of people.
  • Experience of developing as well as, implementing strategic planning with teams and leaders to deliver business objectives.
  • Experience managing resources (finance, equipment and people) and performance.
  • Experience with systems development.
  • Ability to commute to Salford.
