Job Description

The Head of Global Events is a senior leadership role responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive global events strategy that aligns with Vizrt's and NDI's brand, marketing goals, and business objectives. This role manages a team of event coordinators and oversees the planning, budgeting, and execution of all major tradeshows, conferences, customer events, and internal activations across all regions. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with deep experience in event marketing, team leadership, and cross-functional collaboration

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Global Event Strategy and Execution

Define and lead the global events strategy for Vizrt and NDI, ensuring alignment with each brand's goals and audience Select and prioritize key industry events across regions, balancing visibility, engagement, and ROI Together with the Communications team, develop event themes, messaging, and experiences that reflect the distinct identities of Vizrt and NDI while maintaining strategic cohesion Oversee execution of flagship events, including customer summits, partner forums, and product launches

Budget & Vendor Management

Own and manage the global events budget Negotiate contracts with major vendors, venues, and agencies

Team Leadership & Development

Lead and mentor a global events team, including the Marketing & Events Coordinator and Field Marketing Manager Provide guidance and growth opportunities, fostering a high-performance culture

Stakeholder Engagement

Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, HR, product, and executive stakeholders Partner with Demand Generation, Brand, and Product Marketing teams to integrate events into broader campaigns Collaborate with sales leadership to ensure events support pipeline generation and customer engagement Serve as the executive point of contact for strategic partners and sponsors Work with Channel Marketing to assist channel partners with event material and planning

Measurement & Optimization

Define KPIs for event success and implement post-event reporting frameworks Analyze performance data to optimize future event strategy and execution Research new markets and define new strategic events that match the direction of growth for the company

Qualifications & Skills:

10+ years of experience in event marketing, with a proven track record of leading global programs Strong leadership and team management skills Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business goals into impactful event experiences Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities Proficiency in CRM, and marketing automation tools Willingness to travel globally as needed
