We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Head of GPS Finance

In this role, you will:

  • Provide insight to GBM and CMB and identifies opportunities to improve the performance of the business.
  • Be responsible for the development and delivery of all internal financial reporting to GPS Executive Committee.
  • Review of all GPS related external reporting, in particular the HSBC Holdings plc Annual Report, Interim Report, Interim Management Statements, annual Investor Update / Strategy Day, and any investor relations presentations including GPS content.
  • Provide the analysis and infrastructure to support the development and delivery of robust Top-Down Guidance as part of the annual planning cycle and periodic latest estimate updates.
  • Develop and deliver a coordinated offshore support model for the benefit of GPS Business Finance teams in each of the regions and the various central/Group teams.
Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
  • Lead the global activities for Global Payments Solutions (\xe2\x80\x9cGPS\xe2\x80\x9d) Finance in covering Executive MI, Strategic Analysis, Planning, Forecasting & Stress Testing, Business Partnering with the Global GPS business teams, global change projects, and oversight of enabling functions.
  • Execute seamless BAU while also driving productive change and driving those around to do likewise.
  • Have experience in similar product, payments industry, treasury background.
  • Demonstrate a high-level understanding of transfer pricing.
  • Have experience of implementing strategy.
Qualifications
  • Well-developed leadership skills, with experience of team management across a diverse team and demonstrating ability to use initiative and effect change through people in a large matrix organisation
  • Qualified Financial Professional (CA, CFA, MBA, MA (Fin) or similar).
  • Significant experience working within financial services industry with significant exposure to senior Finance and non-finance staff
  • Ideally with experience within retail banking, insurance, or asset management industries (either within a business or from audit/transaction services/similar)
