Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working on behalf of one our clients in Nottingham to recruit a Head of People Partnering. Reporting into the Chief People Officer, this is brand new role reflecting the growth and success of the business and will operate as part of the wider Global HR team supporting the full HR cycle.

The role offers hybrid flexible working and a 4 day week will also be considered. In addition the business offers a range of excellent benefits. Whilst the majority of employees are based in the UK there could be some international travel to support smaller sites globally. Working with the cross functional senior leadership team and operating as the number two to the CPO the role will take responsibility for the Operational HR team and all day to day HR activities both in the UK, Europe and internationally. The role will manage key areas of the HR Business Partnering team including:

  • Leading and implementing HR policies and programs
  • Managing a variety of developmental HR projects
  • Supporting and leading on M&A activity
  • Ensuring company policies comply with employment and local labour laws
  • Overseeing HR operations and strategies such as employee engagement, benefits, performance management, and training and development
  • Contributing to strategic company developments to achieve business goals
  • Partnering with stakeholders to develop policies, programs and tools to ensure global commercial goals are achieved whilst ensuring rigorous compliance
  • Providing leadership on continuous development to attract, retain and develop colleagues.
  • Developing systems and processes to provide HR metrics
The role will also need to demonstrate proven experience leading respective team members in the regions to manage the full range of HR functions including:
  • Payroll & Benefits
  • Respective country compliance
  • Performance Development
  • Strategic partnering to the business and key stakeholders
  • HRIS and Related System (use and understanding), to leverage efficiencies in the organisation
  • Partnering with the Head of Talent to support and/or lead strategic HR projects. E.g. new HR Information System, HR team growth and development, ED&I, Employee Experience, M&A, Leadership Development and ESG.
The ideal candidate will have:
  • Proven experience of operating as a senior HR Generalist
  • Experience of working in highly commercial, global businesses.
  • CIPD Level 7 qualified or equivalent
  • Experience of operating in PE backed business as well as experience of managing M&A activity
  • HR team management experience
  • Knowledge of cultural differences in different regions or countries
  • Knowledge of laws affecting employment and local legal limitations when developing programs.
  • Ability to provide oversight and management to bring global synergy to multiple initiatives.
  • Experienced in implementing HR Information Systems.
  • Demonstrable evidence of leading transformational cultural changes programmes.
  • Experience of using data and insights to lead on performance improvements
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.
  • A passion for the employee experience.
