The Role




As the Head of Influencer Marketing at Ffern, you'll be responsible for building the influencer strategy at one of the fastest growing startups in the UK. We've already built the foundations, with an authentic online community and a roster of engaged creators, but we're now looking for someone with analytical rigour and creative flair to achieve scalable and attributable growth for the channel.


You'll be fully supported by our in-house designers, software developers, copywriters and data analysts to build a world-class influencer program, whether that's a commission based model or an intimate community of macro influencers - you'll need to work it out, using your experience of the landscape and an openness to testing.


You'll start with one person on your team already, and the expectation to hire more as the channel grows.

Key Responsivities



Develop and implement a comprehensive global influencer marketing strategy, aligned with Ffern's overall marketing objectives and brand identity. Lead and scale, a high-performance influencer marketing channel that consistently delivers strong ROI and contributes significantly to customer acquisition. Establish and manage relationships with a diverse range of influencers, from micro to macro, as well as relevant agencies and platforms. Oversee the end-to-end execution of influencer campaigns, including identifying talent, negotiating agreements, developing creative briefs, managing content production, and ensuring timely delivery. Establish robust measurement frameworks and KPIs to track, analyse, and report on the performance of influencer marketing activities, providing actionable insights for optimization. Continuously test and iterate on different influencer marketing strategies, including but not limited to commission-based models, product seeding, and collaborations with various tiers of influencers (including celebrity/macro influencers). Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including brand, marketing, creative, and analytics, to ensure cohesive and impactful campaigns. Foster a deep understanding and appreciation for the Ffern brand

Requirements



You Profile



Proven experience in a senior leadership role within influencer marketing, ideally within a consumer or direct-to-consumer (D2C) brand; or direct experience within the fragrance, beauty, fashion, or lifestyle sectors (a plus). Demonstrable experience in setting up and scaling a high-performance influencer marketing channel that has become a significant driver of ROI and customer acquisition. Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of how to measure the success and impact of influencer marketing strategies A strong understanding of the influencer marketing ecosystem, including various platforms, talent management, and legal considerations. A strategic and results-oriented mindset with a proven ability to translate marketing objectives into effective influencer strategies. Experience managing budgets and allocating resources effectively.
