The Role



We're seeking an experienced Head of Operations with digital marketing agency experience to drive operational excellence and exceptional results for our clients through strategic management of all service departments.

You'll ensure maximum efficiency across teams, optimal client satisfaction, and alignment with business objectives whilst freeing up the founder to focus on sales and marketing activities that drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities



Take ownership of client success and satisfaction across all service departments (SEO, content marketing, email marketing, PPC, and paid social) Build and maintain a library of internal processes, playbooks, and frameworks for operational management across departments Conduct in-depth operational audits and implement clear, trackable optimisation plans Build out systematic workflows including resource planning, capacity management, and cross-departmental coordination Act as the primary operational strategist and leader for internal team performance Lead weekly/monthly operations meetings across all departments, confidently presenting performance metrics and proposed improvements Document processes, learnings, and SOPs to ensure scalable team expansion Develop repeatable operational frameworks to be used across all service departments Collaborate closely with all department heads to align strategy and execution for optimal client outcomes Track and analyse performance trends across departments and communicate meaningful insights Maintain visibility across all projects to ensure no underperforming processes or resource allocation issues go unaddressed Build, test, and roll out new internal systems to improve workflow and operational efficiency across the organisation

What We're Looking For



3-5 years of operational management experience within a digital marketing agency environment You want to lead operational strategy and build high-performance teams Proven ability to achieve strong operational KPIs and improve team performance metrics Experience with ClickUp for project management and team coordination Understanding of SEO, content marketing, email marketing, PPC and paid social operations Analytical mindset with strong data interpretation and process optimisation skills Excellent organisational and planning skills across multiple departments Leadership approach with a proactive attitude and high standards
