critically evaluate the current structure, redesign it where needed, and implement change from the ground up
. You'll be responsible for
all aspects of the business
, from team performance and logistics to marketplace success, automation, and long-term scalability.
We sell across major platforms like
Amazon, Wayfair, and eBay
, and you must come with proven experience managing similar operations. This role reports directly to the owner, and you'll have
authority to restructure teams, reassign responsibilities, replace ineffective processes--and if necessary, replace or hire new staff
.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership
Oversee all operational functions:
warehouse, inventory, dispatch, customer service
, and fulfillment.
Set and monitor
KPIs across departments
, ensuring team members meet performance standards.
Regularly assess team productivity and
reassign tasks or restructure roles
to drive efficiency.
Ensure that all marketplace operations (Amazon, Wayfair, eBay) are handled with precision, speed, and compliance.
Business Restructuring & Development
Review and evaluate the current business structure
--identify weaknesses, gaps, and outdated processes.
Redesign roles, reporting lines, or workflows where necessary to improve clarity and effectiveness.
Create new departments or functions as needed (e.g., marketing, procurement, analytics).
Take full ownership of staffing decisions:
hire, reorganize, or remove
team members as required.
Automation & Systems
Audit manual tasks and
implement automation
wherever possible to increase speed and reduce errors.
Introduce systems such as
ERP, WMS, or integrated dashboards
to track performance and manage operations at scale.
Strategic Growth & Collaboration
Work alongside the owner to align operations with growth strategy.
Use performance insights and market data to
drive business development initiatives
.
Lead or support marketing and sales strategy in collaboration with external agencies or internal hires.
What We're Looking For:
Minimum 5 years of senior-level experience
in operations, business development, or general management--Ideally in e-commerce
Hands-on knowledge of selling through
Amazon, Wayfair, eBay
, and similar platforms.
Proven success in
building and leading teams
, setting structure, and driving operational change.
Strong ability to
identify business inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions
.
Comfortable making high-level decisions around staffing, structure, tools, and priorities.
Confident with automation tools, ERPs, warehouse systems, and digital process optimization.
A self-starter with strong leadership, accountability, and decision-making skills.
Bonus (Not Required):
Experience in marketing strategy, PPC, SEO, or working with marketing teams.
Background in home goods, furniture, or bulky item logistics.
