Job Overview

We're looking for a hands-on, strategic leader to grow and manage a group of commercial services--including lettings, cafe operations and event spaces.

You'll drive income, shape the future of our enterprise model, and lead a multidisciplinary team. This role combines day-to-day operational oversight with long-term business planning.

We're open to candidates from all industries--education, heritage, hospitality, non-profits or beyond.

What You'll Do

Lead commercial operations across accommodation, food and drink, and events Develop strategies that balance purpose and profit Build partnerships, secure funding, and explore new income streams Support strategic planning and performance tracking Motivate and support a cross-functional team Deliver a great experience for clients and stakeholders alike

What We're Looking For

Essential:

Experience leading commercial or operational teams Strong financial and strategic thinking skills A collaborative, people-first leadership style Able to juggle hands-on delivery with senior decision-making Commercial awareness and performance mindset

Nice to have:

Experience in heritage, education, or hospitality Success in applying for grant or project funding Knowledge of contracts, service agreements, or supplier management
