Lead a team that delivers projects and bids with a focus on customer success. Operate an effective customer support / success platform and process. Develop and continually improve business processes and tools that provide the management and leadership with the data they need to operative the business effectively. Manage and grow a team of subject matter experts across the domains in which TRL Software operates. Lead the operations team, provide effective people management and, through membership of the TRL Software leadership team, shape the strategic direction and performance of the TRL Software business as a whole.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver projects to time, cost and quality
Provision of data to the finance function to ensure accurate delivery of financial reporting
Actively support the development of bids and proposals
Operate the customer support / success platform to ensure customer success
Manage a team of Professional Services Consultants, Project Managers and a Customer Success team
Publish a set of live dashboards that provide the management information required to operate an effective business including: customer support / success; consultant utilisation; project delivery performance (time, cost, quality) through Project Online; customer trend analysis
Lead the development of a training offering
Manage and grow a team
Support the development and delivery of the TRL Software business strategy
Collaborate effectively with others in TRL Software and the wider TRL Group to deliver the above
Key internal relationships
Sales and Marketing Functions: Support sales process; customer engagement.
This role calls for an individual with extensive experience of leading teams to deliver software / IT project that delight customers.
An analytical mindset that drives action from data and a high attention to detail.

Key attributes for this role will be:
Significant experience of operations leadership, ideally in a Software as a Service environment
A track record of delivering software projects with customer engagement in a timely and cost effective way
Strong business acumen and a commercial mindset
Highly experienced in financial management of projects, programs and services
A resourceful, articulate verbal and written communicator who has the ability to influence others through the use of sound judgement and good sense
An effective people manager and team builder
Strategic thinker who is able to identify how changes in technology can be harnessed to improve existing products and develop new products to meet changing customer expectations and markets
A track record of negotiation and onboarding key accounts
Strong customer relationship skills
Able to demonstrate a good understanding of our chosen markets and future developments
A natural team player, highly-motivated and ambitious for the success of the whole TRL Software team and able to provide effective leadership to the whole of TRL Software
Able to manage priorities in a high pressure environment
Degree qualified or have equivalent professional qualifications and experience (e.g. project management qualification; AGILE methodology)
