A qualified teacher with substantial experience in secondary PE
Proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team
A proactive mindset with a strong sense of initiative
Impeccable attention to detail in planning, assessment, and curriculum development
A commitment to inclusive, high-quality physical education for all students
Experience organising sports fixtures, trips, and whole-school events
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the PE department, including staff development and performance
Design and deliver an engaging, inclusive PE curriculum
Monitor and evaluate teaching standards and student progress
Coordinate extracurricular sports and inter-school competitions
Ensure health and safety compliance across all PE activities
Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to promote whole-school wellbeing and physical literacy
