Holland Park School is seeking an exceptional Head of PE to lead our vibrant and high-performing PE department. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious, passionate, and dedicated educator to inspire students and staff alike in one of London's most dynamic school environments.

About the role

Lead and inspire a committed team to deliver an engaging, inclusive and challenging PE curriculum. Plan and teach outstanding lessons across KS3-KS5 that motivate all learners. Promote excellence in teaching and learning through effective curriculum design, assessment, and pedagogy. Foster a culture of participation and achievement both within the curriculum and through a rich extracurricular sports programme. Monitor and support student progress to ensure consistently high standards and outcomes. Contribute positively to whole-school leadership and culture.

About you

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in a relevant subject. Has proven experience of teaching PE across 11-16 (and ideally A Level). Demonstrates excellent subject knowledge, classroom management, and communication skills. Has a track record of raising achievement and promoting inclusion. Can inspire and motivate both staff and students to achieve excellence. Brings creativity, resilience, and strong organisational skills to leadership.
