Head Of People Analytics

London, United Kingdom

Job Description

Head of People Analytics

We\'re looking for a Head of People Analytics, who is passionate about our mission of Money Without Borders, to build an outstanding global People Analytics Function within Wise. This is a unique opportunity to work within a People team that is serious about using data to shape the focus of its work to enable an exceptional experience for Wisers.

You\'ll report to the Head of People Programmes and Experience, and work very closely with the Chief People Officer, and the People leads across the globe. You\'ll also be part of the Analytics community within Wise, giving you access to a global network of analytics professionals.

You\'ll lead a small team of passionate analysts and support them to partner across the People team to drive data based decision making and ensure robust measurement of the impact of the work we do, as well as identifying insights to inform our planning process - all to ensure that we are enhancing our Wisers\' experience to best enable impact on our mission.

If you\'ve previously led or helped to build people analytics functions in fast-paced, scaling, global companies - we\'d love to hear from you.

Problems you\'ll solve in this role:

  • Support the entire people team to address the most important topics for Wise using data and insights, and building relevant KPIs to measure impact
  • Develop, coach and support a talented people analytics team that has global reach
  • Refine our vision and plan for the people analytics function
  • Enhance our people data reporting + insights offer for all leads to help them make more informed people decisions across our existing employee experience journey
  • Champion, promote and build credibility of people data across Wise leads and Wisers so it can be used to effect positive change across the organisation
  • Build a framework + tools for exploratory and explanatory analytics as well as initial predictive analytics modelling to help Wise leads to better understand root causes of people challenges
This role will give you the opportunity to:
  • Be part of a positive change in the world. Current banking systems don\'t let us send, spend or receive money across borders easily. Or quickly. Or cheaply. So we\'re building a new one. Our mission is to make money without borders the new normal
  • Have a significant impact by shaping the next phase of people analytics in a fast-paced, scaling, global company
  • Learn from a global network of professionals. We have a large, diverse team of analysts and data scientists that you will work with and learn from by being part of the Analytics community
  • Use all your experience and skills to bring new thinking and ideas to how we build an outstanding people analytics function
A bit about you:
  • Experienced People Analytics leader who has successfully built people analytics functions in fast-paced, scaling, global companies
  • Makes the complex simple by building and telling stories with data to effect positive change across organisations
  • Led, developed, supported and grown a team of people analysts enabling them to effectively partner across the people team and the business to build trusted relationships and drive data based decisions
  • Hands-on data manipulation and analysis experience including scripting/coding (and coaching others) in SQL and Python (or R)
  • Created and run integrations with HR systems and other analytical tools including data warehouse platforms like Snowflake, standalone systems like Workday
  • Developed and implemented work across entire company scope with a problem focused - using MVP lens to iterate and make your work better over time
  • Co-owned people team wide projects or products, helping to bring teams together to plan around problems with KPIs that make a difference
  • Would be amazing if you\'ve practically used + applied AI / machine learning techniques and built predictive models to get deeper insight
Salary (annual)
125,000 - 150,000 GBP

We\'re people without borders - without judgement or prejudice, too. We believe teams are strongest when they are diverse, equitable and inclusive. We\'re proud to have a truly international team, and we celebrate our differences.

Every Wiser should feel that they can be themselves at work. Inclusive teams help us live our values and make sure every Wiser feels respected, empowered to share their contributions towards mission zero and able to progress in their careers.

Having diverse teams that reflect our diverse customer base helps us build a better product. We can be more creative and empathetic to our customer\'s needs and life experiences and makes sure we leave no-one behind on our journey to mission-zero.
