The Role



We are looking for an experienced, Head of Production to lead the day-to-day operations of our dessert production. This is a key leadership role in the heart of our kitchen, overseeing all aspects of production -- from quality control to new product development (NPD), team leadership to operational excellence. You'll work directly alongside our Founder and senior management, playing a vital role in scaling our operations while maintaining our reputation for high-quality, innovative desserts.

Key Responsibilities



Production Leadership

Oversee the daily production of our signature no bake and baked cheesecakes and upcoming dessert lines. Ensure efficiency, consistency, and quality across all kitchen processes. Manage the kitchen environment to ensure food safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance. Team Management Lead and inspire a growing team of kitchen assistants. Support hiring, training, scheduling, and team development as the team expands. Foster a culture of accountability, positivity, and high performance.
Product Development (NPD)

Collaborate with the Founder and R&D team on launching new dessert innovations, including cookies and other indulgent treats.o Lead kitchen trials, testing, and scale-up processes for new products. Maintain recipe documentation and implement efficient production methods for new products.
Operational Excellence

Implement and improve production workflows to increase output and reduce waste. Manage inventory and coordinate with supply chain partners for ingredients and packaging. Work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and logistics teams to support launches and fulfilment.

Requirements



Experience & Skills

3+ years of experience in a hands-on production or kitchen management role, ideally within a bakery or dessert manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of food production processes, hygiene standards, and health & safety regulations. Demonstrated ability to lead and grow a team in a fast-paced environment. Passion for desserts and food innovation -- you're as excited about cheesecakes and cookies as we are! Everything is hand finished so experience in finesse.
Personal Qualities

Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership. Energetic, proactive, and excited to build something big from the ground up. Comfortable rolling up your sleeves and working in a hands-on production setting. Ambitious and collaborative -- you thrive in a scale-up culture with big dreams.
