Role Overview
As the Lead Recruitment Partner, your responsibilities will include designing and implementing cutting-edge recruitment practices, enhancing the employer brand through effective social media, conducting job evaluations, overseeing psychometric testing, and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You'll also provide strategic advice and coaching to management teams.
You will be key in playing a critical role in the company's growth strategy by identifying, attracting, and securing top candidates and maintaining a talent pipeline.
You will be responsible for managing the full recruitment and onboarding lifecycle, and providing strategic insights to improve the overall employee experience. You will proactively drive the company brand through efficient, effective and innovative recruitment and onboarding management.
You will lead a high volume, transactional team, providing leadership to ensure a responsive end to end recruitment service for all of those involved in the hiring process. Recruitment knowledge is essential and the ability to manage transactions against SLAs is one of the most important elements for this role.

Strategic Recruitment:
Identifies key strategic partnerships and develops relationships effectively to positively impact the business strategy.
Works in partnership with managers to ensure the business is professionally resourced with the correct numbers, quality and types of workers needed to achieve current and future business objectives.
Works in collaboration with the Marketing team to continually evaluate and drive exposure within recruitment campaigns to innovate talent attraction, utilising social media and multichannel marketing.
Focus on a consultative approach, providing regular updates and reports on recruitment progress and challenges.
Delivers best in class recruitment collateral, including Job Adverts and Role Profile templates and continually reviews jobs board performance against ROI.
Drives the candidate experience - continually reviewing and updating recruitment methods to ensure a seamless end to end experience.
Candidate Sourcing:
Utilises various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, networking events, and direct headhunting, to identify potential candidates.
Proactively develops initiatives to attract the best talent.
Ensures all job adverts are SEO (search engine optimised).
Headhunts for key roles, utilising LinkedIn Recruiter and various other networks.
Continuously explores new talent pools and redefines recruitment strategies to attract candidates.
Oversees internal promotions and career progression with effective recruitment communications and campaigns.
Builds and maintains a talent pipeline for critical, core roles and future hiring needs.
Performance Management:
Ensures best practice, increasing employee motivation and the retention of appropriately skilled staff, committed to the delivery of exceptional customer service.
Leads and coaches the in-house recruitment team, creating development plans and identifies opportunities to drive continuous improvement.
Manages key recruitment metrics across the business, using Power BI data analytics, to understand and track performance against KPIs and present people related analysis to management teams.
Overall accountability for the performance of recruitment metrics to improve hiring efficiency and effectiveness.
Manages and is accountable for the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing and onboarding candidates.
General:
Strives to continuously improve recruitment and onboarding procedures and practices across the organisation.

Qualifications:
Bachelors' Degree preferred.
Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (minimum Foundation Level Member).
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in recruitment, with a proven track record in a senior or lead recruiter role.
Demonstrated success in recruiting for a variety of roles and levels, including executive positions.
Strong background in talent acquisition, attraction tools and strategies, system optimisation, data and marketing.
Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and industry trends as well as a comprehensive knowledge of employment law.
Can demonstrate an orientation towards continuous process improvement.
Demonstrates high levels of emotional intelligence and an ability to influence at all levels.
Demonstrates excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong commercial and financial knowledge.
Strong leadership and coaching skills.

Experience of marine recruitment or similar transport industry environment is required.
