The Commonwealth Secretariat seeks to appoint a Head of Rewards, and Employee Wellbeing in our Human Resources & Facilities Management Division (HRFM). The HR function is expected to continuously seek to align the Secretariat's people capacity with its mission, capabilities and changing mandates to ensure that it delivers on its strategic and operational outcomes.
Reporting to the Director - HRFM, the Head of Rewards, and Employee Wellbeing is responsible for managing, developing and communicating the organisation's pay and benefits framework in line with the Secretariat's People Strategy. The post-holder is expected to provide expert advice on pay and benefits matters in an international context and effectively manage pay and benefits administration. In addition, the post-holder is responsible for overseeing compliance, audit and risk for the HR function.
To be considered, you will need a relevant undergraduate degree in any subject from a nationally recognized institution, as well as a postgraduate qualification in Human Resources Management, Reward Management, Employee Relations Organisational Behaviour or any other discipline relevant to the post. Candidates will need at least ten years' experience in compensation and benefits, including a minimum of five years heading the Rewards and/or Organisational Development function. Experience of working with diverse teams and in cross-cultural environments and in line managing teams and individuals is also required.
