Role Purpose
The Head of Social Media will lead the strategy, planning, and execution of all paid & organic social media activity across the organisation's client base and internal brand. They will be responsible for driving measurable growth, engagement, and ROI through best-in-class campaigns, ensuring the social team delivers against business objectives and maintains our position as a leader in digital marketing innovation.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Develop and oversee the social media strategy for both clients and the company's own brand, ensuring alignment with overall marketing and business goals.
Monitor and adapt strategies to reflect industry trends, platform updates, and consumer behaviour shifts.
Lead on setting KPIs, measuring performance, and reporting outcomes against objectives.
Team Management & Development
Manage, mentor, and inspire the social media team, ensuring skills growth and high performance.
Oversee resource allocation to maximise output within client scopes and retainers.
Conduct regular 1-to-1s, performance reviews, and training sessions.
Campaign & Content Excellence
Ensure all campaigns are creative, engaging, and data-driven.
Approve and oversee content calendars, paid social activity, and influencer partnerships.
Maintain quality control across copy, visuals, and messaging to ensure brand consistency.
Collaboration & Cross-Department Integration
Work closely with PPC, SEO, content, video, and web teams to ensure an integrated approach to campaigns.
Use attribution and analytics to demonstrate the impact of social media on the full customer journey.
Identify cross-sell opportunities for other services such as telephone AI and email marketing.
Commercial Responsibility
Maintain a client retention rate of 98%+ and ensure department profit margins remain above 60%.
Identify and deliver growth opportunities within the existing client base.
Support the sales team with social media insights and proposals for new business.
Required Skills & Experience
At least 3 years experience managing large-scale social media campaigns across multiple platforms.
Strong leadership skills with a track record in managing and developing teams.
Excellent understanding of paid and organic social strategies.
Proficiency in analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, Google Analytics, Looker Studio).
Exceptional copywriting, visual communication, and brand storytelling skills.
Strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage budgets and deliver ROI.

Pay up to 50,000 depending upon experience.
